Nice
Wouldn't it be grand if all shopping produce could do that? Ah, the possibilities...
A previous viewer mentioned that they couldn't play the movie, that's probably because it's using Flash Player 8 which was only released a few days ago. If it doesn't play then you need to visit the macromedia website and get the update. The animation has some nice use of the brand spanking new blur effect so it's worth doing.
Not bad
As a collection of images it's not bad. The randomness, which is recognised in your title, does mean that it doesn't really hang together. If there were any 'morals' in the piece then maybe that would help, but this was more a set of pictures.
I liked the style a lot, and it's something I've not seen much in the last ten years. Go back to the nineties and Eastern European animation and there was tonnes of stuff like this, and those also felt like they were a bit lost in what they were trying to achieve. Maybe that's why they died out too...
But still. I can see there's a lot of work gone into it, and I think that some of it has paid off, but maybe you should focus on getting a central theme. 'Morals' suggests that there was going to be a theme but that never really appeared. Instead you concentrated on the randomness. That's fine if randomness was what you were going for, but I don't think it was.
All the best for your next animation.
i think i wanted to call it something eles when i made it, (which was a long time ago at this point) but i REALLY apreciate you overlooking the cruddy drawings and commenting on what the cartoon was always supposed to mean... thank you!
Love it!
It made me laugh, which is more than many things on this site!
'Cocky muffins' :D
See you on b3ta!
Great sound!
I love your choices of music, it's nice to hear some things on Newgrounds that aren't taken from The Matrix soundtrack :)
Your animation style is really nice too, I particularly liked the blur effect in the zombie episode.
One tip for your buttons, go into the button's timeline and put a rectangle around the text in the frame marked 'hit'. The rectangle will never be seen by the viewer but it will mean that the whole area will be clickable, not just the letters.
Keep up the good work!
Blimey
That's really very very good. Those bits of mock-3D must have taken ages to animate.
You clearly both have a lot of time on your hands, but if you continue like this then you'll have a career in Flash animation ahead of you both.
Best wishes,
Well, no too much time. PK3 took 10 months, and Richie animated when he had the time.
Great as always
I've always enjoyed your animations, your visuals are sparse but always expressive but what really brings them up is the vocal performances. Brilliant.
Very very odd
but good nonetheless.
It's good to see someone actually putting effort into writing a decent script and then having enough of a sense of timing to make it work. The best thing I've seen on here for a fair while. Nice one.
A really good trailer
It reminds me of Ninjai the Little Ninja, although maybe that's just the font you've used.
If there is anything to be picky about I'd say that it's a really large file for such a short piece of animation. Maybe the sound quality could be reduced?
While I'm on the subject, the sound is excellent and fits the visuals perfectly.
Good luck with making the first episode. I usually try to make my animations in two to four weeks, but I'm guessing from your ETA you're taking a little more time than that!
thanks!
yeah i have a version with a lower sound quality that is only 900k, but i loved the music so much that i didn't wanne hold out on ya'all ;) 3s did a super job.
it will take so long cause i'm one busy guy. I play in a band that takes a lot of my time (not that i'm complaining!), I'm also the animator for lunaclick.com + have 2 jobs as a webdesigner :) but hey who knows...maybe i'll get it finished sooner..who knows ;)
